The beaches are not free. They are either $5.00 or $10.00. We had beach passes because we rented a house there. I went to Asbury Park last week for the day and we could not get on the beach. You had to reserve online the night before. I don't want it to happen to you so check online to see if you have to reserve at Point Pleasant before you go. If you go early finding a parking space is not bad at all. If not you can park in a lot for $10.00 all day. Enjoy
