Falcons vs. Patriots highlights: Atlanta's comeback falls short in NFL Week 9
The Atlanta Falcons fell to 3-5 on the season after Sunday's 24-23 loss to the New England Patriots. Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. tossed three touchdown passes to Drake London, but the team missed an extra point attempt after what should have been the game-tying touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Falcons wide receiver Drake London shared his thoughts on his matchup with Christian Gonzalez in Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Atlanta has already worked out multiple free agent kickers this season and has Ben Sauls and Lenny Krieg on the practice squad. Krieg, who will be returning to his native Berlin when the Falcons play the Colts in Germany on Sunday, is considered a developmental prospect and is unlikely to be a candidate for the starting job this week.
Douglas caught four of six targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-23 win over the Falcons. Douglas scored a 16-yard touchdown on New England's first drive and broke free for a 58-yard gain in the second quarter.
