Darius Slay’s time in the Steel City has come to an end. The six-time Pro Bowler and the Steelers agreed to part ways on Tuesday, ending his stint with Pittsburgh after just 10 games. The team signed Asante Samuel Jr. to its 53-man roster from the practice squad on Tuesday as well.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have made cornerback Darius Slay a healthy inactive after benching him for cornerback James Pierre last week in Chicago. Now, with cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. up off the practice squad, Slay will not play and has fallen down the depth chart.
