New England Patriots commentator and former quarterback Scott Zolak says newly-hired offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels won’t force Drake Maye to run the Tom Brady-style offense.

Last year, Josh McDaniels was out of a job after the Las Vegas Raiders fired him in the middle of the 2023 season and replaced him with Antonio Pierce. But, now he's back coaching as the offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots for the third time in his career.

As bad as things got for the Patriots in 2024, fans could comfort themselves, knowing they had found the most important piece of the team-building puzzle.
