There's no question that Kevin Durant is most known for his successful tenure with the Golden State Warriors. After the Oklahoma City Thunder fell short of the NBA title quest in 2016, there was a 50/50 chance that the then-free-agent forward would return to the franchise for another season.

Kevin Durant could find a new home in the days to come and the odds he may be rejoining the Eastern Conference are on the rise. Durant is working with his management and the Suns this offseason to find a new landing spot after two disappointing years in Boston.

Granted, winning a championship is a team effort; however, Durant has fallen short in his last two landing spots. Out of all the potential suitors for his services, the Heat have the least depth. Miami would need to gut its roster to acquire the 15-time All-Star.
