According to reports from ESPN and The Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Nick Harris, the Cowboys are expected to hire Oregon co-offensive coordinator Junior Adams as their next wide receivers coach. Adams has served as a co-offensive coordinator on Dan Lanning’s Oregon staff since 2022. He also worked as the Ducks’ wide receivers coach.

On Sunday morning, however, it became public that Lanning would likely have to spend the next few weeks trying to replace one of the best coaches on his staff.
