One of the game's most powerful bats is on the move. The Arizona Diamondbacks traded slugging third baseman Eugenio Suárez to the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday night, ESPN's Jeff Passan reported. The Mariners later confirmed the deal on social media.

J.P Crawford hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Seattle Mariners rallied to defeat the visiting Texas Rangers 4-3 Friday night.

Raleigh didn't homer in the Mariners' three-game series versus the Athletics to begin the week. He made up for it with a fifth-inning blast off Kumar Rocker in the fifth inning of Thursday's contest.
