Set to fall outside the top 70 in the world for the first time in four years, Max Homa's eyes were welling as his lengthy struggles continued with a missed cut at the Players Championship.

Homa: “It’s hard to care this much about something and just not get anything out of it, I guess. But I am of the mind that it will happen."

In the not-so-distant past, Max Homa and Viktor Hovland were two of the biggest stars on the PGA Tour. In April 2023, Homa was ranked fifth in world. In August 2023, Hovland was ranked fourth. Both players struggled mightily in 2024 and are off to another horrendous start in 2025.

Arguably one of golf’s nicest guys, Homa has struggled since contending at the 2024 Masters and the 6-time PGA Tour winner just can’t find his game.
