Police have arrested 466 people in central London on Saturday for protesting the British government’s decision to ban the pro-Palestinian activist group Palestine Action under anti-terrorism laws.

British Parliament in early July passed a law banning Palestine Action and making it a crime to publicly support the organization.

London's police service has said that officers had arrested 522 people the previous day for breaching anti-terror laws by supporting the recently proscribed group Palestine Action.
