Sean Combs will stay in jail as he awaits sentencing for prostitution-related crimes, a court has ruled. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian on Monday denied Combs’ bid to be released, finding that this history of violence shows that he could pose a dangers to others.

An ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs who was supposed to testify against him in his criminal case, but mysteriously dropped out days before the trial began has written a letter to the judge pushing for Combs’ release on bail.

An ex-girlfriend, who was identified in federal prosecutors’ indictment as “Victim-3,” urged the judge to “permit (Combs’) release on bond while the case proceeds.”
