The powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Thursday dismissed South Korean claims the North is removing some of its loudspeakers along the inter-Korean border, mocking the government in Seoul for clinging to hopes of renewed diplomacy between the war-divided rivals.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s sister declared that Pyongyang has no intention of improving relations with South Korea, branding it “the most hostile state” and dismissing reports that border loudspeakers were removed in response to Seoul’s peace overtures.

Pyongyang denied south Korea's claims that some of the loudspeakers along the borders were removed. Dialogue prospects between the two countries seem poor as Kim Yo Jong said her country has no interest in the South.

Investigators are seeking to charge Kim over alleged crimes in one of three probes launched under Seoul’s new liberal government, targeting the presidency of Yoon, a conservative who was removed from office in April.

Kim Keon Hee, the wife of former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, was arrested late Tuesday night on charges including stock price manipulation and bribery.
