LATROBE, Pa. -- The Pittsburgh Steelers’ training camp has been edgy and chippy over their first seven practices. Despite not having the pads on during Thursday’s practice session, the players still managed to have tempers flare.

After a week of looking comfortable on the field, sixth-round pick Will Howard had his best day as a Steeler, making a number of passes that stood out, with some coming against notable names on defense.

Steelers HC Mike Tomlin revealed that three defensive tackles were injured during yesterday's first padded practice at training camp.
