The Green Bay Packers have overtaken the Chicago Bears for first place in the NFC North. Keisean Nixon intercepted Caleb Williams’ pass in the end zone with 22 seconds remaining to preserve Green Bay’s 28-21 win over Chicago on Sunday.
The win pushed the Packers to a 9-3-1 record, good for the current No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs, and a 4-0 record in the NFC North.
After a road game next week at the Denver Broncos, Green Bay faces the Bears again in Week 16 at Chicago on a Saturday. It is the first time since 1998 (Weeks 15 and 17) that the Packers and Bears will meet twice in the regular-season in a three-game span.
