AP Top 25: Notre Dame back in top ten after six-game winning streak
Notre Dame reentered the top 10 for the first time in two months after extending its winning streak to six with a convincing 25-10 victory over Boston College. The Fighting Irish climbed two spots in the poll. Losses by Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and Miami created openings for BYU, up to No. 8, and Texas Tech, which jumped to No. 9.
There are three ranked matchups this weekend, as the path to the College Football Playoff begins to take shape. At noon on ABC, No. 9 Vanderbilt take on No. 20 Texas and at 7:30, the No. 18 Oklahoma face No. 14 Tennessee.
