Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon, after saying nothing had changed about the team's quarterback situation, made an announcement at his media availability on Monday. He announced that Jacoby Brissett would start at quarterback in Week 10 on the road against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Cardinals' offense was completely anemic for the majority of the game, as the Seahawks took a 20-6 lead five minutes into the fourth quarter. Arizona responded eventually, however, making it a close game down the stretch and requiring the Seahawks to kick a game-winning field goal.
Coach Jonathan Gannon said Tuesday that Brissett will start against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday while franchise quarterback Kyler Murray continues to recover from a foot injury. Gannon didn't rule Murray out for the Seahawks game, but said announcing a starter gives the team some clarity during preparation.
