At its Inspire partner conference in Las Vegas, Microsoft announces big performance enhancements to its cloud data warehouse and new Enterprise/Big Data capabilities for Power BI.

These virtual cubes can be implemented on various Hadoop distributions, including Azure HDInsight, and are queryable from various Business Intelligence client tools, now including Power BI.

The data integration makes it much easier for users of Power BI to share data with users of Azure for a wide range of business tasks.
