Two Boston men were arrested in connection with daytime shooting this month in Roxbury that left a woman paralyzed, the Boston Police Department said in a statement released Thursday.

Boston police arrested a Quincy man and charged him in a September attack near Fenway Park that left a 22-year-old man with severe head and facial injuries.

Boston police officers arrested a second suspect Tuesday in connection with a Sept. 22 shooting in Mattapan. The victim had been shot in the area of 37 Temple St., and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Boston police reports, he stole more than $55,000 worth of merchandise from a Sunglass Hut on Boylston St. and a Lululemon store.

Police officers in Boston will wear name tags after reaching an agreement for a one-year contract extension with the city. Mayor Michelle Wu announced the contract ratification on Monday between the city and the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association, the union that represents most of the city’s police officers.
