Researchers have developed an alternative method to encode information in synthetic molecules, which they used to encode and then decode an 11-character password to unlock a computer.
To create the password, the team designed a 256-character alphabet, in which each character is composed of different combinations for four of these monomers.
A cybersecurity firm reveals that hackers can now quickly crack passwords containing a mix of numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, and even symbols in 2025 with the help of AI and GPUS.
