Würzburg chemists have succeeded in controlling the passage of halide ions by deliberately introducing defects into a two-layer nanographene system. Their results have been published in Nature.
According to the group, chemical coordination between 4PTSC and SnI2 shields the perovskite surface, and passivates uncoordinated Sn2+ and halide ions, suppressing deep trap state formation.
These would react with barium ions in the test, giving an incorrect positive result. Explain why, in a test for halide ions, the sample is acidified with dilute nitric acid first. Carbonate ions ...
“PDA cations bind strongly to the interfaces of adjacent perovskite fragments, allowing more relaxation time for different halide ions to exchange and thereby the formation of uniform mixed ...
Sodium Chloride is an alkali halide with an fcc crystal structure. The basis is two ions, a sodium cation and a chlorine anion. The crystal lattice parameter is 0.563 nm. The diagram shows both a unit ...
Researchers at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS) in Bengaluru have developed a new technique to enhance next-generation lighting.
