The Windows 10 boot and shared data partitions somehow got encrypted with Bitlocker (and thus are inaccessible from the Win 8.1 install) after a repair shop swapped the motherboard.
Affecting Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server, the bug prevents your PC from booting into Windows, instead resulting in a blue screen that asks for your BitLocker recovery key.
If you want to configure or change how BitLocker unlocks OS C Drive at Startup with PIN, USB flash drive or TPM in Windows 11/10, see this post.
Windows 10 22H2 has received its latest update today. The new release, Build 19045.3271 (KB5028244), brings a bunch of important bug fixes as well as improvements, including a BitLocker fix and more.
On top of that, Microsoft's BitLocker automatically uses drives' built-in encryption (if available) on Windows 10.
