Marat Khusnutdinov tied it late in the third period and had the lone shootout goal, helping the Boston Bruins beat the New York Islanders 4-3 on Tuesday night for their fourth straight victory.
That’s been true lately for Marat Khusnutdinov. The 23-year-old forward, who scored the winner in last week’s shootout against Buffalo, scored the tying goal with 4:54 left and the winner in the shootout to push the Bruins to a 4-3 win over the Islanders on Tuesday.
The Bruins faced the Islanders on Oct. 28 and won 5-2 on home ice. Elias Lindholm, David Pastrnak, Mikey Eyssimont, Morgan Geeke and Fraser Minten scored in the comeback victory, and Joonas Korpisalo made 33 saves.
