A man has been cleared of causing the death of another man in a city centre. Gamal Nasrallah Hassan, 60, died in hospital on 4 August 2023, two days after an incident in Legg Street in Chelmsford. Police had been called just before 21:15 BST and at the time they said Mr Hassan was assaulted.
