Nvidia GeForce Now is about to get a dedicated app on Steam Deck and start supporting streaming via browser on several virtual and mixed reality headsets.

GeForce NOW on the Vision Pro, Quest, and Pico devices includes “all the bells and whistles of NVIDIA technologies, including ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS,” the company confirmed. GeForce NOW members on the Performance and Ultimate subscriptions can “tap into RTX and DLSS technologies in supported games” for even better visuals.

GeForce Now is officially headed to the Steam Deck and virtual reality headsets, but it may be a while before you can game in the cloud.

Nvidia has confirmed that the GeForce Now service will fully support Valve's Steam Deck handheld soon with more quality options.

The Steam Deck is a great device, but it ain’t exactly a powerhouse. And with new graphics cards coming into the market from every angle, plus new AAA games that almost demand them, the Steam Deck’s aging integrated setup isn’t looking any hotter.

Nvidia has announced that it's releasing a native GeForce Now app for Steam Deck later this year, so you won't need to use that workaround anymore.
