The Oklahoma City Thunder hit the road to face fellow Western Conference foe the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday, November 4 in a Coast 2 Coast Tuesday contest that will be broadcast live on both NBC and Peacock. Tipoff time is set for 11 p.m. ET from the Clippers’ home court at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The defending NBA champion will put its unbeaten streak on the line in the nightcap of NBA Coast 2 Coast Tuesday.
Such was the case last year, when the Thunder went 68-14 and won the Western Conference’s No. 1 seed by 16 games. Put that into some perspective: Oklahoma City could have ended the season on an 18-game losing streak and it still would have won the No. 1 seed at 53-29, or one game better than Houston’s 52-30.
The Thunder are 7-0 for the second consecutive season. They’re undefeated this time, even though swingman Jalen Williams, an All-NBA Third Team honoree last season, hasn’t played in a game yet because he’s recovering from surgery on his right wrist. Big man Chet Holmgren has missed three of the Thunder’s seven games because of a lower-back sprain.
