Pakistan and Afghanistan claim killing dozens of the other side's troops in relentless fighting

KABUL, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Fighting between Pakistan and Afghanistan's Taliban military entered its third day on Saturday as foreign governments expressed increasing concern and called for urgent talks.
Pakistan says that Afghan forces have attacked Pakistani military positions along the border, triggering intense clashes that left 67 Afghan troops and one Pakistani soldier dead.
Pakistan, Iran’s neighbor, has been striving to remain neutral in the conflict. But its government and military have been forced to act to protect its economy.
Pakistani and Afghan troops exchanged fire at dozens of points along their border on Friday as the U.N. said their week-old conflict has forced the displacement of more than 100,000 people.
