Update: Containment progress – Bonanza Fire in El Dorado County at 40%
Bonanza Fire initially started 2:31 p.m. June 17 in El Dorado County, California. It has burned 181.2 acres after being active for 28 hours. By Wednesday evening, 40% of the fire was brought under containment. The cause of it is still under investigation.
The Bonanza Fire spread at least 80 acres in the Shingle Springs area of El Dorado County, California, according to Cal Fire.
