Ife Adeyi has developed quite a history with the Eagles this spring, and the speedy wide receiver appears set to re-sign with the team ahead of the second week of training camp. Philadelphia just finished Day 5 of practice, and Aaron Wilson reports that Adeyi is signing with the Super Bowl champions.
Jason Kelce, who isn’t leaving his position at ESPN and hasn’t taken an official coaching role with the Eagles, is “always welcome here,” offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland said.
Most NFL defensive lines would regress after losing someone of Milton Williams’ caliber — the former Eagles defensive tackle, who amassed 5.5 sacks last season, signed with the New England Patriots in free agency — but it’s not as big of a deal for the Eagles, one of the best teams at drafting and developing future starters.
That's because of Elijah Cooks, signed by the Eagles to the practice squad last January after spending his first two seasons with Jacksonville. Cooks, who has 3 receptions for 38 yards in his NFL career, has had by far the best training camp of any Eagles wide receiver not named A.J. Brown.
