The security crisis in the Mexican state of Jalisco continued, with 23 inmates still at large, at least 41 people detained iand new highway blockades.
The Mexican army killed the leader of the powerful Jalisco New Generation Cartel, Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, "El Mencho," in an operation Sunday, a federal official said.
Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, known as “El Mencho” was the boss of one of the fastest-growing criminal networks in Mexico.
The head has finally been cut off the snake and Americans would be forgiven for thinking peace is set to follow.
