For the first time in franchise history, the Detroit Lions have earned a playoff bye. It's an unprecedented success for a team that just won two playoff games in the same season for the first time in over 60 years in 2023.

Rakestraw, Detroit’s second-round pick, has been dealing with a hamstring injury. It sounds like he has a good chance to return from injured reserve at some point during the playoffs. With Arnold banged up and Davis set to miss the rest of the season, getting a talented corner like Rakestraw back would be nice for Detroit’s secondary depth.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, head coach Dan Campbell said that he's expecting star running back David Montgomery to suit up in the divisional round, a huge boost for the Lions' ground game.
