Free agent outfielder Jurickson Profar signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Atlanta Braves on Thursday.

Former Padres outfielder Jurickson Profar and the Braves agreed on a three-year, $42 million contract Thursday.

Profar, a switch-hitting outfielder, will help the Braves fill Ronald Acuña Jr.’s absence, and could be their starting left fielder when Acuna returns.
