Weather Impact Alert: Snow returning to Denver, up to a foot of snow possible in Colorado mountains
A storm system will bring mountain snow and a rain/snow mix to Denver and eastern plains on Friday, potentially causing travel issues.
It will be another gorgeous and unseasonably warm day, with high temperatures in the low to mid 70s across the Eastern Plains and 50s in the mountains.
The early March snowstorm finally brought some flakes into Denver, but just as quickly as the snow came, it left, and 70-degree temperatures were in the forecast again.
A storm will hit Colorado on Friday, bringing up to 14 inches of snow to the mountains and the first snow in 40 days to Denver, impacting morning commutes.
