In July 2019, Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce tragically died in his sleep at the age of 20, with his cause of death later being confirmed as a seizure related to his epilepsy. Carl Weathers’ Chubbs Peterson was also slated to return, until the actor died last year. So this film features the character’s son Slim Peterson (Lavell Crawford), who, like his father, sports a prosthetic hand that has an inconvenient propensity for falling off.
