Manchester United have made a third bid for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo that could be worth up to £70m. The offer is understood to be an initial £65m, with £5m in add-ons. Brentford are yet to discuss the offer.

Manchester United have submitted an improved bid for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo in a push to seal Ruben Amorim 's second major signing of the summer, according to reports. And the Bees' expected stance has since emerged after over a month of playing hardball with their Old Trafford counterparts, including rejecting two offers.

Tottenham, who are now managed by Thomas Frank, Mbeumo’s former coach at Brentford, also wanted Mbeumo but he made it clear his sights were set on a move to United. Amorim would also like to add a striker, central midfielder and centre-back this summer but United need to sell to raise funds to reinvest.
