The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory across Connecticut as a winter storm will bring snow and ice by Thursday morning.

The Poconos will see slippery conditions Wednesday night into Thursday morning. PennDOT has vehicle restrictions planned.

On Thursday, the weather service says the chance of precipitation is 100 percent, with the likelihood of it becoming all rain after noon and a high near 39. Precipitation will start as snow in New Jersey before changing over to sleet/freezing rain and then finally to plain rain.
