Tennessee women's basketball player Ruby Whitehorn has been dismissed by coach Kim Caldwell after a second brush with the law in three months.

Tennessee senior guard Ruby Whitehorn was named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year Preseason Top 20 Watch List, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced on Tuesday.

The Lady Vols led, 65-25, at halftime after outscoring the Cougars, 37-14, in the first quarter. Nya Robertson, Ruby Whitehorn, Mia Pauldo and Jersey Wolfenbarger each scored 18 points for Tennessee. Talaysia Cooper scored 17 points and Janiah Barker totaled 15 points and 10 rebounds. She also had six steals and four assists.
