Spider-Man: The Animated Series fans, rejoice: there’s a new comic book, Spider-Man '94, on the way that will finally expand upon the animated series’ major cliffhanger — but the show's original writer John Semper Jr.

DeMatteis told IGN that “We’re treating this as the next season of the show,” staying true to the spirit of the series while also introducing new adventures and bringing fresh foes into the mix. Spider-Man ’94 #1 arrives September 3. Will you be checking it out?
