Without the majority of their first-choice back-line for much of the campaign, Spurs have suffered in forward areas too, with Richarlison, Dominic Solanke, Timo Werner, Wilson Odobert and Brennan Johnson all spending prolonged periods on the sidelines.

Ange Postecoglou has confirmed new signings Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso are available to make their Tottenham debuts against Liverpool at Anfield on Thursday. Both Tel and Danso will come straight into the squad after their moves to Spurs in the final week of the January transfer window.
