AC Milan have decided against making Joao Felix’s move permanent in the summer after the forward’s underwhelming start to life in Italy. Felix completed a loan switch from Chelsea to Milan towards the end of the January transfer window in the hope of getting his stuttering career back on track.

Despite only arriving at Stamford Bridge on a permanent deal last summer, it became apparent in January that Felix was eager to secure a move elsewhere. The arrival of Sergio Conceicao at San Siro led to the newly-appointed head coach moving for his Portuguese compatriot at a time when Milan were desperate to kick-start their campaign.
