Japan’s HTV-X1 cargo spacecraft is set to leave the International Space Station this week, completing its mission with planned experiments and disposal of materials, according to NASA.
After completing its primary mission, HTV‑X1 cargo spacecraft, which is operated by JAXA and NASA, will depart the ISS on 6 March 2026. Live coverage will begin at 11:45 a.m. EST.
The uncrewed spacecraft undocks from the International Space Station and returns research and cargo to Earth.
