Nintendo recently highlighted three big games coming to the original Switch in 2025. They are Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on March 20, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

Nintendo has released its latest financial data covering the third quarter ending 31st December in FY2025 and, as per tradition, the company has reconfirmed release windows for its major upcoming Switch software.

Following the release of its financial results on Tuesday, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa answered a series of questions from investors. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains the best-selling Switch game with 67.35 million units sold. The placement of the 10 best-selling Switch games remains unchanged since the last update. It's likely that Super Mario Party Jamboree will eventually make its way onto the list.

The Nintendo Switch has been a huge success by any measure, surpassing 150 million total sales just this month. Nintendo might not move many more Switches, though. With the Switch 2 now official, gamers will probably hold off until they can pick up Nintendo’s new console.

Nintendo Switch has the most first-party million-selling games, beating out competitors like PlayStation and Xbox. The Nintendo Switch has sold over 150 million units, surpassing the Nintendo DS and other consoles.
