The Starbucks Global Barista Champion will co-create a beverage to be sold at stores across the U.S. in the "near future."

From over 84,000 baristas to one crowned champion, Starbucks hosted its first-ever Global Barista Championship in Las Vegas, highlighting creativity and customer connection. We were able to get some custom drink secrets shared by finalists.

Starbucks crowned Nobuki as its first Global Barista Champion during the 2025 Leadership Experience event in Las Vegas. During the three day competition, Nobuki showcased coffee skill, craft, and storytelling while celebrating the coffeehouse community.
