Chloe Kitts had 15 points and nine rebounds, Tessa Johnson added 14 points and No. 5 South Carolina knocked off No. 1 Texas 64-45 to win its third straight Southeastern Conference Tournament championship and ninth title in the last 11 years under coach Dawn Staley.

Meanwhile, Texas (31-3) settled for silver in its first appearance in the league's postseason tournament. Led by Chloe Kitts' game-high 15 points, South Carolina had four players score at least 10 points on Sunday.

Unlike for seeding in the SEC tournament, there was no coin flip needed to determine the top team in conference when No. 1 Texas and No. 5 South Carolina got to make heads or tails on the hardwood … and South Carolina made its point very clear.
