Florida authorities say a man is in custody after he went on a bizarre, multi-city crime spree — stealing Smokey

An employee dressed as the 'Smokey the Bear' mascot helped arrest a man who stole signs from FL state forests, an official said.

Florida's Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson is going viral after sharing photos from a recent Orange County arrest -- photos which show a man getting taken into custody with the help of Smokey Bear.
