After portraying the infamous superhero villain throughout the show’s entirety, Starr will step away from the character when the Prime Video series wraps its upcoming fifth season.

Filming has already wrapped on The Boys season 5 and, now, Antony Starr has found the right time to say goodbye to his iconic Homelander character. In a lengthy post on Instagram, Starr paid tribute to the cast, crew, creator Eric Kripke, and – of course – The Boys' wonderfully twisted fanbase.
