A company spokesperson stated that with the recent decision to move V60 production from Sweden to a plant in Belgium, Volvo chose to end production of the V60 Polestar Engineered for the U.S. to focus on the more popular V60 Cross Country. Buyers can also still opt for the larger V90 Cross Country.

Wagons are hanging by a thread in the U.S., and here's one more that will not see the light at the end of the tunnel.

America's misplaced lack of interest in the station wagon has struck again, this time taking out our favorite Scandinavian longroof: the Volvo V60 Polestar Engineered. Road & Track broke the news, reporting that Volvo's consumer site reads,

Wagons, as you know, are a dying breed. The few that remain on sale in Canada all come from luxury brands including BMW’s M5 Touring as well as Audi’s RS 6 Avant, A6 Allroad and A4 Allroad. Mercedes-Benz no longer offers any.
