Jun 2, 2018 · The teenager, leaving Kamloops with three Memorial Cup rings on his fingers and a National Hockey League contract in his pocket, had no worries.

Kamloops went undefeated, beating Laval 5-4, shut out Chicoutimi 5-0 and dumped North Bay by a 5-1 score. Earning a bye to the final, the Blazers met Laval and won the Memorial Cup with an exciting 5-3 victory. Darcy Tucker was the tournament MVP, winning the Stafford Smythe Memorial Trophy.

Kamloops Blazers teams of 1993-94 and 1994-95 round out the 2013 BC Hockey Hall of Fame Inductees. The Blazers won back-to-back Memorial Cups under head Coach Don Hay and General Manager Bob Brown. Many of the players shared in the double Canadian Junior Hockey Championships.
