There are some cases Giratina-O may perform better due to having more bulk and different resistances. Another thing to consider is that Darkrai cannot be traded.

Furthermore, in all of its Pokedex entries, there is never one that says the nightmares are intentional, but many specify that Darkrai means no harm in the nightmares.
