Jan 11, 2013 · I loved the Avengers main campaign, and then the character combat was fun, but everything else was empty. I think the mechanics they had for that game would've fit far better with the Suicide Squad format, with 4 locked in playable characters, scripted co op beats and an open world filled with activities instead of weird empty levels.

Funny, better-paced, more damned fun, surprisingly touching in an authentic way, nice call-backs to its predecessor (the way Harley gets out of being strung up lines up with her acrobatics in the cage in the first film, for example), more interesting characters (and no LetoJoker), more interesting villains.

Dec 4, 2024 · I fully expect the look of Superman to be a further evolution of what Gunn/Braham have cooked up in The Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. And color grading will obviously be fine tuned until they lock the picture next summer. But hey, the look might just not be your or other people's cup of tea. There's no pleasing everyone.

Apr 14, 2024 · Ironically, Peacemaker in Suicide Squad Isekai is much more faithful to the comic book version, specifically the post-crisis version from the 1980s and 90s. I like the Cena version but the anime version was kind of neat because he's even more of a deranged lunatic rather than a goofy meathead.

May 8, 2008 · Of course they are. I mean, aside from that cameo in the Peacemaker season finale and even with some actors from the old Suicide Squad cast returning, Gunn's previous DC productions pretty much danced to their own tune to begin with.
