The $310 million dollar renovation of Rupp Arena and associated replacement of the Lexington Convention Center is the single largest capital public improvement project in Lexington’s history and the largest economic development project in the State.

A $275 million, 756,000 SF renovation and expansion of the convention center includes new exhibit space, ballrooms, pre-function space, meeting rooms, and a new parking structure. The project also provides a new facade and 4 new hospitality suites to the 23,500-seat Rupp Arena.
