Historical photographs of immigrant communities show us how people from all across the world have created new lives in New York City and massively enriched its cultural landscape. Many of the images in our current exhibition "Stirring the Melting Pot: Photographs from the New York Historical Collections" were created by immigrant photographers, as well.
